Chapter 1- The B---- Must Die !!!!
“Hello, Reyjah,” said Darlene coolly. Darlene was not only one of Antoine’s former clients, but she also hit Reyjah with her car and sped off like nothing happened. She had also tried to ruin Reyjah’s performance at Giovanni’s one night by telling her that Antione was indeed a gigolo. Reyjah stood up and faced her.“I just want you to try something,” said Reyjah angrily. “This time, I’ll be the one giving you the black eye and not Arianna.” Arianna smiled and waved at Darlene. “I’m not here to fight with you, my dear,” said Darlene in her snobbish tone. “I just wanted to congratulate you, you won Antoine fair and square.” “There was no competition,” said Midori snidely. Everyone else snickered. Darlene ignored the insult. “I also wanted you to know that I am going to AA, now.” “Assholes Anonymous?” said Derrick. They snickered again. “That’s real good, Darlene,” said Reyjah. “It be even better if I believed you; why can’t you just leave us the hell alone?” Darlene smiled. “My dear, do you feel threatened by me?” she asked. “Judging by the plastic in your face and the jelly in your chest, I think you are one that’s threatened,” said Sheila. “Damn, y’all got jokes tonight,” said Reyjah turning to her friends. “Darlene, leave my club,” said Akilah. “And quickly before I have you removed.” Darlene looked at Akilah. “Fine, but thisisn’t over, Ms. Bennett, Antoine really loves me, he’s just using you, you’ll see…” Darlene turned on her heel and walked away. “Damn, her breath!” said Reyjah sitting back down. “I got drunk just talking to her.” Her friends laughed hard. “What song are you gonna sing next, Rey?” asked Arianna. “The Bitch is Back,” said Reyjah.
