        Scene 1:

Somehow she never noticed him as she spent the afternoon unloading the boxes she had carried in her car, after her long drive from Minnesota. But he had definitely noticed her. She had an almost innocent natural beauty he wasn't used to. The way she kept blowing the loose hairs from her dark blonde ponytail out of her face as she bent to retrieve things from her trunk. She wore no makeup and her cheeks were dotted with freckles. She had on a T-shirt with what he thought was the name of a college, but he didn't recognize it. Was she just out of college? If she was, he'd have to forget about her, she was too young. But he swore he could see a line of gray at her temples. She had to be older than that. Regardless, he definitely noticed the curve of her hips as she bent into the back of the car and her T-shirt shifted up to her waist. She had strong legs, muscular and he particularly admired the gorgeous curve of her calf that moved to her ankle. She was hot from all of her trips up the stairs and standing she lifted the corner of her shapeless T-shirt to wipe the bead of sweat that ran into the hollow of her throat. As she turned he caught a glimpse of the curve of her waist and a hint of the white lace that covered her breast. He had to sit back as he caught his breath; it was obvious she was curvaceous to say the least. He missed that.

Moving from Los Angeles he was glad to get away from the skinny plastic beauties that couldn't seem to leave him alone. Especially after his last relationship had ended so horribly. He had hoped a haircut would take away some of the attention, all the papers wrote about him as the exotic Israeli with the killer curls. It hadn't helped however. So when the chance came up to move to Vancouver to shoot a T.V. series, where he wouldn't be playing a romantic type he jumped at it. A change of venue, and a chance to escape the type casting.

He'd only been here a few weeks, shooting almost every day was exhausting and he hadn't had much free time. Now here it was a beautiful Saturday afternoon, he was sitting in his kitchen when he first noticed her. The townhouse he had rented while he was shooting was new and he had few neighbors. He had liked that at first, he had the run of the pool where he could swim every morning, and he could turn up his stereo as loud as he liked, but as the weeks had passed he was starting to feel a little lonely. Everyone on the shoot was great; he liked the people he worked with, but after spending that much time together everyday he couldn't bring himself to join them at the bars. He had never been much for carousing. But now she was moving in, alone, he noted. He smiled to himself as he headed outside to introduce himself and see if he could help.
