Scene 13:

Her dreams were different than his. She really was fairly na•ve, and couldn't have imagined the great sex he did, even if she had wanted to.  Instead, her dreams flashed from scene to scene. Images of him at the dinner table, beaming at her with his sparkling chocolate eyes.  Then thoughts of the two of them on the couch, the feel of his hand on her leg, but unlike earlier, now in her dream she had parted her knees, and imagined his long fingers stroking the inside of her thigh. She could feel him pull the edge of her panties to the side, and slowly stroke the outside of her, immediately feeling wetness between her legs. He gently made his fingers part her and slide slowly inside of her, his thumb gently rubbing and pressing on the bundle of nerves he found easily. She arched under him, holding onto his shoulders with her hands as he slowly moved inside of her, her muscles pulsing around his fingers. She would look at him, and realize he was watching her reaction intently, smiling sexily at her as she couldn't help herself and she moved her hips against his hand. She dropped her eyes, blushing, but unable to stop the heat she could feel building inside of her, or the way her body physically responded to the things he was doing to her. Even in her dreams she was shy. Then she would see him standing in the shower, then flash to the image of him on the balcony watching her swim, then standing in the kitchen drinking orange juice, then back to the feelings of what he would have done to her on the couch, if only she had let him.  She woke up all hot and bothered, and unsatisfied. Not knowing he was sleeping much more peacefully than she was now.  She looked at her clock, 5:30. She could try to go back to sleep, she thought, but then thought, maybe it would better to get up and jump in the pool. Swim off the ache she was feeling. Refresh herself before her big day started.

She dove in and immediately the cold water cleansed her body of all the pent up frustration she had woken up with. She swam easily and felt refreshed, then she heard the gate open and looked up to see him standing there in swim trunks. She only had a few minutes before she needed to go get cleaned up for work and she swam over to the ladder as he dropped his towel on the table next to hers.

"Good morning," he announced. Looking down at her as the water ran off her hair and shoulders.

She looked up at him, her eyes clear and cool. "Well, good morning Oded... we meet again at the pool." She smiled a little coyly, her dreams of last night flashing through her head, embarrassing her. From where she was on the pool ladder, when she looked up she had to follow the line of his legs up his thighs. Her eyes skimmed over the front of his swim trunks, and she blushed. He was slightly bent at the waist, making his abdominal muscles flex tightly, the morning sun behind him making his morning mussed up hair glow wildly. He still looked sleepy as he smiled down on her.

"Are you getting out?" he asked. Not knowing if the color on her cheeks was because of him, or because of the crisp air this morning. He sat down on the side of the pool and dangled his feet in the water. The water was cold, and he pulled his feet back out, pulling his knees up to his chest and wrapping his arms around them.

"I can't test it before I dive in..." she offered, "or I'd never get in the water." Still, holding onto the ladder. It had occurred to her that she was going to have to haul herself out in front of him, and the cold water had made her breasts respond. Besides the fact that she still didn't feel confident letting him have such a clear view of her like this. She didn't really want to feel those eyes of his on her, taking everything in.

"Do you swim every morning?" he asked, still rumpled from climbing out of bed. He hadn't known she would be out here, or he would have at least combed his hair. He felt a little self-conscious. He always swam in the morning, and today he had gotten up feeling physically wasted after the torment of being with her and not being able to have her last night, especially after the dream he had experienced had left him feeling very empty. He had pulled on his trunks and wandered out barefoot, surprised to hear someone in the pool, before it occurred to him it might be her. When he opened the gate he could see her swim for the ladder, and smiled, excited he'd get to see her before they both had to go to work.

"No, usually I swim at night, it helps me relax after long days that are usually more mentally exhausting than physically." She answered, truthfully. "But this morning I needed... well, after last night... I didn't get a chance to swim last night." She stammered, as the implications of what she was saying hit her.

He smiled knowingly and jumped into the water next to her, yelping as the water hit his body. He grabbed the side of the pool as he pulled himself up next to her, her feet still on the bottom step of the ladder.

"I should let you get your swim in..." she started to step up the ladder, feeling her body start to heat up at having him so close to her again.

"Mmmm... " he mumbled, wanting to reach out and touch her. But this meeting had been unexpected, and they were both a little unsure about what the boundaries were this morning.  He kicked off the side of the pool and glided away from her on his back, putting his head back in the water, needing to put a little distance between them himself.

She took the opportunity to pull herself up out of the pool and grab her towel. She turned and watched him as he kicked back towards the ladder, reaching up to grab the sides. He had seen her climb out as he pushed away, and although knew it would probably be better for both of them to not push things this morning, regretted that she was leaving. She was ringing water out of her hair and the morning light on her wet face was beautiful.

"Abby, I didn't cut your swim short did I?" he asked. "You don't have to go..." but he knew it would be better if she did.

"No, no... I was really done, I need to get ready for work," she answered looking down at him. He was looking more vibrant now, the sleepiness gone from his face. He had looked soft around the edges, when he sat down by the pool, his eyes had been warm and sleepy, but now the angles of his cheekbones and the strength of his jaw line were more pronounced and his eyes were sharp and crisp. She could see the strong muscles in his shoulders and back flex as he held himself onto the ladder, and she was struck again at how beautiful he was. "Please, enjoy your swim..." she was about to turn away.

"Abby... " he didn't know what to say, he was simply sad to have her leave. "Thank you again, for last night."

She smiled softly at him. "I had a wonderful time too... "

He smiled and blushed a little, his ears going red. Then with one hand he waved her down towards him, nodding his head towards the ladder as he pulled himself further out of the pool rising up to his waist. She knew what he wanted and she did to. She knelt down on the edge, and leaned forward, her hands on the top of the ladder. He reached up with one hand to draw her face in to his and kissed her gently. He didn't try to part her lips, he was content to simply feel her lips against his own. He let her go and she sat back on her legs. As she did his eyes drifted down and he caught a glimpse of the beautiful skin that ran between her breasts. He smiled then loudly sighed, and letting go of the ladder fell back into the pool.

She laughed and stood up as he came back to the surface of the water. She waved and turned to go. "Have a good day."

"You too... Xatixa." He waved to her as he started to swim the length of the pool, and saw her head back up to her place. He was deliriously happy.

"Xatixa?" she wondered aloud. He had called her that a couple of times now. "What did it mean?" She smiled to herself, she imagined it was something very good. She nearly skipped upstairs to change.
