        Neighbors

        By Lilybird

        Scene 3:

He stood on her front steps waiting for her to come to the door. He tried the doorbell several times; he could hear it ringing, so he knew it wasn't broken. But she never came to answer it. Frowning, he turned disappointedly and walked down the steps. He glanced at his watch and knew he had to get ready for the party he had half-heartedly promised he would attend. He dreaded the thought that they would have birthday parties for everyone on the crew and that now he would be expected to go to all of them. He should have declined. But he hadn't, and being a man of his word he hurried to shower and change.

He walked into the bathroom and as he bent to turn on the water he glanced out the window. He stood up, eyes wide and smiled to himself. He hadn't even thought about the fact that his bathroom faced hers. She was taking a shower; he could see the water running in the reflection of her mirror. She had no curtains up, and hadn't thought to drop the shades. That must be why she didn't answer her door, he thought to himself. Then he blushed, turning the olive colored skin on his cheeks a darker shade of tan. He knew he shouldn't watch her, but he couldn't help it, she entranced him. In the reflection of the mirror, he could see the shower door was wavy glass like his, and it obscured his view of her, but he could make out her silhouette and as she raised her arms to wash the soap out of her hair he could see the top swell of her breasts as she dropped her head back. Her shoulders were freckled like her cheeks and she had tan lines from her swimming suit, he guessed. She turned her back to him and dropped her head forward letting the water pound on her neck. Then she bent down and he could see she had turned off the water. He desperately ached to watch as she stepped out of the shower, to have a full view of what he knew would be her beautiful curvaceous body, but he dropped the shades and turned away. He chuckled; he tried to convince himself that he had turned away from the window out of some chivalrous upbringing. But truthfully, he knew it was because he was afraid he might get caught. What would his mother think if she knew what he had been up to?

He took a longer shower then he planned on. He stood, the water beating on his chest, unable to get the image of her leaning back into the water, hair around her shoulders, the light skin of her breasts arching upwards, out of his head. He imagined himself joining her, standing in front of her, his hands pulling her hair back as the water rinsed the shampoo out. He leaned down to take the dark pink peak of her breast into his mouth. She arched further back, pushing her chest closer to him, shivering as his teeth grazed the taut peak, then pulling her head up to nuzzle her nose against the top of his hair, wrapping her arms around him as she pushed her naked body up against his. He shook himself and opened his eyes. What the hell was he doing? He didn't even know her name, he had no idea who she was, what in the world was he doing fantasizing about her like this. He looked down and breathed a heavy sigh at the site of his erection. It was going to be a long night.
